
It needs to be noted that this book does start out slow, and it does so on purpose. The reasoning behind this is to bring forth the mundaneness of this creature's life, and the mindset that he is in. It shows the repetitiveness and hardship that he is forced to endure by the humans that are around him, and hence, the life that he is being forced to live. It eventually helps to bring out what is behind the growing loathing that is stewing towards those who have made him who, and what, he is. The elusive creature in this book, is the DOGMAN, and one Dogman in particular that goes by the named, Josiah Wolfe. This is a story about Josiah's battle of survival against the brutality of the human race, the journey of finding one's self that he must make, and the harshness and cruelty of his own kind. This is not a book for the faint at heart. As you begin to read, you will read about how the reoccurring, nightmarish memories of his past, consume Josiah's subconscious dreamscape. With each reoccurring nightmare that he has, another piece to the puzzle of his life is exposed, and together they begin to reveal the horrors that he had suffered in his past. As his memories from the past slowly present more details, the puzzle pieces of his subconscious begin to come together and form a complete picture, revealing why the Dogman called Josiah Wolfe is the way he is, and who and what was behind his creation. As the days and nights of his life drag on, Josiah Wolfe begins to feel a mysterious calling coming from deep within himself.
