Author Description

We all experience periods spent alone, that is to say, being on ones own for varying amounts of time. Brother John is a solitary who lives ninety nine percent of his life in solitude, away from all the noise and clamour modern life so often affords. Hoping, perhaps, these collected reflections, simple poetry, prose, and sometimes prayer, written down primarily as a way to help Br John in his daily meditation and contemplation, and very often moment by moment making sense of his desert hermetical life, (Br Johns desert being the surrounding sea of his small island hermitage) May, also be of some help, and even possibly delight for others who find themselves in their own solitude for however short or long a time that may be. In ways known only to the reader, and to God. God who is, and is Love. Thank you.
