Author Description

Written in the span of three months, The Growing of Ivy and Ajax both deal with the effect of war on the psyche and lives of their characters. The Growing of Ivy is a post- World War II story about a woman who has lost her child and the Hell she has to go through to get him back. Ajax is about a soldier returning from Iraq after an IED attack and the demons he must face to return to a normal life. They are about the tragedy of war and how the violence echoes throughout the lives of those involved even after the shooting has stopped.
