Britain's working class has been suppressed. The party of the common man was hijacked, the working class newspaper supported an austerity government, and populist rightwing parties are gaining rapid support.Then came 23rd June 2016. After years of suppression, the working class came together under the leadership of a former city banker and an Etonian with dreams of grandeur. The faux revolution had taken shape. Anti-immigration fear mongering combined with populist patriotism stuck two fingers up to the establishment. Brexit was the result of years of working class suppression that had snowballed into a misdirected vote that took Britain out of the EU.
