The Summary report is one of two major reports submitted as part of the Oil Spill Countermeasures Logistics Study of the Transportation Infrastructure. The Summary report provides tabulated listings of the various aspects of the transportation infrastructure for which information was collected. The study involved a collection of data for the air system, marine system, land system and communities in the north. The information included in this report has been summarized by region within the Arctic. Five separate regions have been considered: western Arctic, eastern Arctic, high Arctic, Hudson Bay/Ungava/Foxe Basin and Labrador coast. This has been undertaken to provide a convenient basis for comparison of the various systems within a given area.
