Excerpt from Protonuclein Clinical Records: Taken From Reports of Prominent Practitioners in Hospital and Private Practice, Together With a Summary of the Therapeutic Use and Mode of Administration No attempt is made to rid the Nuclein of each tissue from its physiological entanglement, and it is this which, though formerly believed to be an obstacle in the way of its action, proved practically to be the very means of preserving the true, unchanged Nuclein substance, which can neither be artificially made from vegetable or plant tissues so as to have full activity in animal organisms, nor can it be preserved intact by any chemical methods Of enucleation, which by breaking up its molecular arrangement to that extent disturbs its physiological activity. With this statement, which is founded upon solid physiological principles, we leave the question of comparison with other preparations, which is only to be determined by actual demonstration.
