Author Description

In time, many tools, articles of clothing and household appliances that were once commonplace become outdated or pass out of fashion because of changing tastes and technologies. These are the objects that form the subject of this book: Through the artful use of light, shadow and perspective, "objects once familiar" become newly resurrected into strong images that transcend time, place and function. We hope that our readers will put aside thoughts of age and utility and instead focus on the inherent beauty of line and form revealed in these photographs.
