We all know that 2020 was a crazy year. Now see it through the eyes of HK Duane. In 2020 she was a twelve year old girl on the spectrum attending middle school virtually. It was a lot to process and she was able to see things just a little bit differently than the rest of us. This is a collection of the poetry she wrote while in lockdown. Follow her as she navigates twelve in this beautiful book. HK Duane lives in Georgia with her mom, dad and little brother. She has two cats and two dogs. She loves to read. She loves to jump on the trampoline. If she's not jumping on the trampoline, she's walking back and forth on the trampoline. When she gets a a good idea she sits down on the trampoline and writes. HK is happy when she writes. It makes her feel free.
