To solve our real world problems, we must go right to the underlying cause, lay it upon the tabletop for inspection, and solve (or cure) it in a holistic way so that it does not create further problems or diseases. This work seeks to be solution-oriented. It is a proposal that offers a decision-making strategy for addressing a wide range of human problems in the American society. The proposal highlights the importance of "truth and history" in government decision-making and provides scholarly evidence that informs us that both truth and history keeps our thought in touch with reality. Maat means truth. The practice of Maat was effective in ancient times for over three millenniums in Ancient Egypt. So it is highly significant to a nation (America) that is in a social, economic and environmental crisis and has been in existence for less than two hundred and fifty years. Whether you are black, brown, red, yellow, or white, the writer wishes you a pleasant experience and hopes that you find value in this work.
