Someone has been busting down doors and strangling people to death in rural Fulton County, Georgia. A large black man, one of the witnesses claimed. And it wasn't long after the Atlanta Tribune started running the horrifying story of a crazed serial killer on the loose that everyone started referring to him as the Atlanta Strangler. Agent Whitmore, the special agent in charge of the investigation, can't figure out who is doing it, that is until Eric Fisher, a newspaper reporter for the Atlanta Tribune, is assigned to cover the story and points out what all the victims have in common - racism. Hardcore, radical racism. Together, with Agent Whitmore's experience investigating murders and Eric's journalistic attention to detail, they track down the murderer, a militant Black Panther leader with a history of violent crime, no alibi, and a motive. With the information Eric and Whitmore provide the DA, the suspect is arrested, charged, and convicted of seven counts of murder and sentenced to death, thus bringing an end to the Atlanta Strangler murders, or so Whitmore thinks.
