This book is drafted around a series of questions; each one a start of a conversation on how you can make some progress in your Lodge. You will find it written in a conversational style and my opinions will tend to creep in, and for that I will apologize in advance. I want you to think about the Lodge I don’t really figure into this. Sit back and picture the officers and the sideliners thinking about those faces in the Lodge room over time. Men will shift through the officer chairs… new faces will appear on the sidelines and those old faces will fade away. Lodges change over time, but the collective efforts of those Brothers have created a culture that as unique as the Brothers that make up the Lodge. And that culture endures. Every Mason's motivation to adopt Masonry is as integral to a working Lodge as your enthusiasm. This book is not a call to overthrow the old guard; this book is a set of tools that you can use to be a good steward of your Lodge making it stronger than you found it.
