Excerpt:...the Court shall cause the questions and answers to be destroyed; but the report of the examiners and the judgment of the Court shall be entered on the minutes of the Court. The Judge of the Superior Court of each Circuit shall, immediately after the passage of this Act, adopt such rules for his own Circuit as he may deem necessary to carry out this Act, and to secure a full compliance with the purposes hereof; which rules shall be of force until there shall be a meeting of the Judges in convention, who shall, at their first meeting, adopt such rules as they may deem advisable, which shall, when so adopted, zupercede and take the place of all the rules adopted for each ircuit. Upon the subject of Legal Education. your committee beg leave to report that the course of study as now required by the laws of this State, if faithfully pursued. will enable those who undertake the law to become well versed, both in its principles and their applications. Lord Bacon has said of study: "Non multa, sed multum." The books which must be read to cover all the topics indicated in our statute are 1.10t many, and the thorough study of them will well equip the lawyer with all the knowledge that is fairly requisite with which to commence the practice ofa learned profession. Add to this the vzyinti Zucubrationes annorum, and the lawyers of Georgia will be prepared to furnish a judiciary splendidly adapted to expound and administer her laws, as well as a Bar that can keep abreast with the commercial, political and social advancement of her people.
