This book is for immediate exam takers, not a long semester outline. All of the author's bar exam essays were published after the bar exam.. Author's bar exam essays were published as model essays. US jurisdictions offer bar exams either once or twice a year. Each state is a separate jurisdiction in the way England and Wales is a different jurisdiction from Northern Ireland or Germany. For that reason the format and length of bar examinations vary. For instance some states have 2-day bar exams and others have 3-day exams. Some states feature hour-long essays while others have short 10-minute essays. Some states have elaborate performance tests with fictional but real-to-life case files, others simply include the performance test in the multi choice examination, which is called MBE - the multi-state bar exam. Nevertheless all state bar exams consist of essays, MBE and performance tests.
