The pieces contained in this book were selected to exemplify different boogie styles and patterns. There are several different patterns found for the left hand that will support any right-hand solo line in boogie style. Some of these patterns may even be used to accompany classical melodies found in standard piano literature. Included are some examples of different styles of driving left-hand boogie bass lines which accompany compositions in this text.
