Author Description

"Meshel J. Pommells was born and raised in Jamaica West Indies, the second child of Rose and Keith Pommells. Ruth had high hopes and dreams as she entered the United States over 17 years ago but fell into the welfare system, divorce, homeless and left to raise four small children. She had to force her way out, with her strength and faith in God. She completed her degree at Monroe college and also attended Lehman College for a few semesters. She continues to write songsm and is presently completeing her second book. She lives in Bronx, NY with her family."--Book back cover.
