Author Description

The leading charcter in Li Lianying in history is the chief eunuch of Qing dynasty, who was born in 1848 and died in 1911. During his lifetime, he served the Empress Dowager Cixi for 50 years and was favored so much that he was granted as a second class official, thus became the rare powerful eunuch in a high position in the Qing dynasty.
