This is the exciting and powerful story of Scot, whose father is determined to `make a man of him' in his own way. Scot is just as determined to do things his way and in his battles with his father he conjures up the figure of the Norman duke who overran the city in the eleventh century. Healso wants to bend Scot to his will for his own evil ends and Scot has to decide which of the two to follow... or can he break free from both of them?
