Everything is fine. Nothing is wrong. Things will improve. Keep believing. Phillip Harris is on the verge of being elected to Congress and thrusted into a new political world he is not familiar with or prepared for. Despite his uncertainty and inexperience, he quickly gains notoriety and power with the assistance of his mentor. This brings the attention of many people and unfortunately for Phillip one of those people is the Shadow, an enigmatic leader of a domestic terrorist group. He is manipulated into assisting in the machinations of the Shadow and the consequences of those actions filter down around him. He must navigate through a treacherous world of duplicity, malice and lies. With the aid of friends and maybe even the Shadow himself, he gets ever closer to learning the truth of what is real, what is right and what is wrong.
