Raphael Cotterell is a famous and a deadly thief in the dark Kingdom of κακό, known for his temper and for his scarring looks. To him, the thrill of a robbery is the only way he can cope with a tragic childhood and a current tragic life. He is stuck in a life filled with misery, hunger and constant fights with his younger and more respectable brother Giles. But one night, while on a heist with Giles, his stealthy luck and skills run out. The two are cornered, but with the help of a fellow street thief, they managed to escape. They are in search of a new life in a neighboring Kingdom when they are presented with a prophecy from the Greek Gods by a group of desperate natives. This prophecy creates a divide in interests and family between the two Cotterell boys, leaving Raphael alone and pressured by time to make a decision. With the threat of losing his last family member or losing everyone and everything around him, Raphael must decide to fight with a group of strangers and go against his own judgement or let an immoral Queen completely take over the land. With everyone counting on him to survive, Raphael finds himself alone in life yet again, but the only question is: will the self-centered and selfish man do what is right or will he fall to darkness?
