
Mary Louisa Molesworth was a Scottish writer circa 1900. She also wrote under the pseudonym Ennis Graham. She wrote for young girls who were not quite old enough for adult novels. Her stories empathized the need for duty and self-sacrifice for the future wives and mothers reading her stories. Mrs. Molesworth tells her reader¿s about the adventures of Rosy, a little girl who could be quite unpleasant, and her brothers and little Beata, who comes to stay with them while her parents are away.
