One of these terms is schizophrenia. They labeled those who "suffer" from this supposed disability crazy and most often unfit for social interaction. Insane asylums and the like were created to hold us that could still see and hear the Goddess & Gods / the Moors on the "other side of the veil". Purposely cut off from society and heavily medicated, many did loose their ability to use their minds effectively. In these modern times indigenous people are told that our Ancestors and other helpful protecting Spirits and entities attempting to communicate with us from the other side are imaginary or dangerous. The majority of them raised in religions that don't teach what these labels really mean. So, out of fear and misunderstanding many of them choose to believe their self proclaimed enemy's explanation of what's going on with them.
