Author Description

This research project is an intensive study on Nicholas sparks’ award winning second novel ‘Message in a Bottle’, in the light of psychoanalysis. The research attempts to psychoanalyze the literary character by going deep down to the psyche of major characters in the novel. From the surface reading the novel seems to be a romantic love story but when we attempt to go inside the psychology of these characters, we find some sorts of psychological and emotional imbalance. This present research attempts to explore hidden and unexplored story and psychological dynamics in the novel.
