Author Description

This book celebrates the contributions of Dr. Whittier Cinclair Atkinson to the Coatsville community and the incredible impact he has made to two humanity. He served as president of two African American medical associations and received several awards and honors, including Howard University's Alumnus of the Year in 1953 and the Pennsylvania Medical Society's General Practitioner of the Year in 1960. Dr. Atkinson was a 33rd-degree Mason and a member of the Sigma Pi Phi and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternities.
