Life happens and when it does the heart has a need to forge a response. Some chose history. Other chose philosophy. The gifted chose art. Still others chose action. The bards, however, choose the pen! They let their heart song bleed through the ink and page. While the ordinary is soon forgotten or misunderstood, the Psalters speak the language of all peoples and their verses are easily remembered and live forever. The poet is not trying to enforce an opinion, but striving to give voice to the soul. The melodies and rhymes siren the spirit of man to the Spirit of God. Sometimes the message is overt but often, only the souls with a common angst can interrupt the depths of mankind. The troubadour serves as our guide then into the spiritual realm. My desire as a wordsmith is to provide an outlet for your own emotions to spring up and find their solemn place in the sun. There is a common flow that runs through all of us that links us all. May these pages pull back that curtain.
