This work describes confocal microscopy of the cornea, a new imaging diagnostic technique in ophthalmology. Chapters review the principles of confocal microscopy, describe various types of corneal pathologies, look at the application of the procedure during corneal surgery, and discuss postoperative follow-up and identification of complications. Conditions discussed include corneal dystrophies, keratoconus, and corneal haze. Many b&w medical images are included.
