Product Description Photography, for all its utilitarian purposes, also has the potential of being a sublime art form. With the advances in optical and electronic technologies, photographic devices are available to just about any person, at no great a financial cost. In fact, most digital mobile phones are equipped with at least one camera. Cal Treska presents a collection of aesthetically pleasing photographs, all of which are taken with smartphone cameras. POV: Photographs taken with Smartphonesis her first book released through self-publishing services provider, Xlibris. Each of the nearly two hundred photographs is composed by the author using several smartphone cameras. The subjects of these shots are diverse: people, flora and fauna, places, events, textures, and whatever else that captures the author's artistic fancy. From the Author I have always been interested in photography and technology. When smartphone cameras became better, I decided to start taking photos myself...of anythign that looked great within the screen of my phone. I took all of these pictures with smartphones (about 6 different models of phone), the photos are unedited just as I saw the moment myself on the screen when I took it. About the Author Cal Treska lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
