"Nineteen Interventions: Arquitectura-G is the first monograph to celebrate the work of this award-winning, Barcelona-based studio, and rounds off their first decade of practice. Readers are quickly absorbed into a distinctive universe, as they transit through more than 100 full-bleed images, where spaces, angles, and textures merge and intersect, page after page. Ultimately, these interventions--renovations or extensions that rest upon the framework of existing buildings--paint a larger picture as well: of an economic crisis that devastated a profession but gave rise to the conditions that shaped the young architects' singular style and method of working.
