New Riders Exam Gear Software provides readers with a training and testing situation that is remarkably similar to the actual testing scenarios. This allows the user to become familiar with the look, feel, and pressure of a timed, computer-delivered exam. In addition, users can choose between three simulation modes: Adaptive Exam: This mode simulates the new adaptive exams given by Microsoft. Users can NOT mark questions and return to them later. Students may pass or fail after only answering approximately 20 questions. Practice Exam: This simulates the actual exam by testing users on the same number of questions and in the same time limit as the Microsoft exams. Students are graded by objective, so they can see which areas they need to improve. At the end of the exam, students can also revisit the questions, their answers, the correct answers, and explanations for the correct answers. They not only get a realistic exam experience, but also have an opportunity to learn and understand why they got a question wrong. Study Mode: This option allows users to see the multiple-choice questions and select answers as in the Practice Exam mode.
