Author Description

This catalogue documents "The Grace of Gesture", Lawrence Weiner's 2013 contribution to the 55th International Art Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia. It is presented on the ground floor of the Palazzo Bembo near the Rialto Bridge and comprises of a multilingual installation which is installed on 5 Vaporettos (boats) - one of Venice's most important sources of transportation. The boats transport the work throughout Venice, from the Canale Grande, to the Arsenale, to the Giardini and beyond. Exhibition: Venice Biennale, Italy (2013).
