The SPSS Pocket Guide, Release 9, provides a convenient reference to the SPSS Batch System. Release 9, for users who are already familiar with the system and with SPSS. Second Edition, and SPSS Update 7-9. This guide cannot substitute tor these manuals, which newcomers to SPSS or veteran users with special questions are advised to consult. Except where otherwise noted, this guide documents Version H of SPSS. This guide is divided into two sections, one on procedure and the other on non-procedure commands, arranged alphabetically within the two groups. Page numbers referencing detailed discussions of each command in SPSS, Second Edition, are listed in each section of the guide. Page numbers marked with a dagger [t] refer to SPSS Update 7-9.
