Author Description
This Book Began In A Barbershop. Reverend. Thomas William T.w. Linton, The Spry Then Seventy-seven-year-old Owner, Was Sharing Memories From His Sixty-year Career While Cutting My Hair On A Summer Afternoon In Tuscaloosa In 2011. I Had Been Coming To The Shop Since Reading About Him In The Tuscaloosa News About Two Years Earlier. Rev. Linton Loved To Reminisce While He Worked. When He Was Unhurried, He Would Take Up To An Hour Before Stashing His Clippers And Swinging The Black Barber's Cape Off My Shoulders. With No One Waiting In Line That Day, Rev. Linton Had The Time To Focus On Me And Tell A Story About An Event That Changed His Life. I Had Heard Snippets Of It From Him Before But Never The Whole Version.
