A teenage magician is forced to pose as a teacher at an all-girls school, only to find himself entangled in a web of magical mishaps and romantic entanglements. Negima, a powerful but immature mage, must take over his father's teaching post at Mahora Academy's junior high division. His mission is complicated by the fact that he is only 14 years old and the students, particularly the fiercely protective Asuna, are suspicious of his true identity. Negima must navigate the treacherous social dynamics of the school, conceal his magical abilities, and avoid the attention of the powerful Twilight Pact, all while trying to complete his father's unfinished business.
