When his ship, the Ark, made landfall on Mount Ararat, not only had this diluvian navy fulfilled its mission for a new and hoped-for better world, but its captain had also demonstrated the first use of sea-air power, the function of the modern navy. The dove that Noah used for reconnaissance was the forerunner by some centuries of naval aviation: the eyes of the eet. <p>This analogy is the, only one that can be _made between that early navy and the navy today.
