This book is the third in a series. Its predecessors, Relational Selected Writings and Relational Database Writings 1985-1989, were published in 1986 and 1990, respectively. Like its predecessor this book presents a collection of papers - many of them previously unpublished - on various aspects of relational technology. Features Contains recent published papers on the relational model by the best-selling author in the field. Several papers previously unpublished. Hugh Darwen (the contributing author) will be familiar to readers of the previous book under his pen name Andrew Warden. Here he contributes papers as a well-known columnist in his own right. The third part of the book includes a very careful review and analysis of Codd's relational model (Versions 1 and 2).
