A dragon shifter must protect a human woman who is his fated mate, even as his own kind hunts her. Blaze, a powerful dragon shifter, is drawn to a human woman named Dena. He discovers she is his mate, a connection that ignies a primal need within him. However, Dena is unaware of the supernatural world and the danger she is in. Blaze must shield her from his own kind, who see her as a threat to their secrecy and existence, while also battling his own internal struggle between his dragon nature and his growing feelings for her.

The premise sets up a classic paranormal romance with a dragon shifter protagonist and a human mate. The narrative likely focuses on the intense connection between Blaze and Dena, exploring the challenges of their forbidden love and the external threats they face. Readers can expect a blend of action, passion, and the unfolding mythology of the dragon shifters. The series format suggests that this volume will establish the world and introduce the core conflicts that will be explored in subsequent books.
