Author Description

This journal format can be used to enhance students field experience by allowing them to integrate theory into practice, communicate in writing, organize ideas, develop the ability to critically evaluate onself in relation to professional practice behavior, and evaluate progress made toward goals. Using a "Link and Learn" model, students are asked to complete activity worksheets, and reflection exercises. At the end of their field experience, students will have a well-documented memoir of their experience, as well as a portfolio for professional use.
