This guide is designed to be of interest to "bushwalkers" or anyone interested in identifying Australian wildflowers. The book is divided into seven colour sections - purple-blue, orange-red, pink, yellow, white, cream and green - so that identification is made easier. A colour wheel is reproduced at the beginning of the book for those not sure of how to define colour. Each entry contains information on flowering time, description of foliage, flower and seeds, botanic and common species name and family name. There is also a section on growing wildflowers, vegetation types, habitats, such as deserts, schlerophyll forests, woodlands, heathlands and coastal areas. A guide to photographing wildflowers, equipment needed and a glossary of terms is included. Denise Greig is the author of "What to Plant" and "Let the Garden Go".
