The school was collapsing of inertia until Miss Jane Reed came along. Her energy led to her meteoric rise in power at the school. The tired older women took care of the bake sale as Jane turned the school into a prison of discipline and intimidation. Mrs Winter, the stroke afflicted librarian, witnessed Miss Reed commit the crime. Only years later is it all undone when the most threatening people of all descend on Jane Reed's school, two grad students, a lovely young girl and..... a man!
