This book opens with a discussion of the definition, anatomy, and chemistry of the limbic system, including a survey of recent advances in our understanding. There follows a series of contributions on the normal neurophysiology of the system, and the consequences of lesions and disturbances. The book then examines the interaction of groups of psychopharmacologically active agents.
