Not illustrated. 1904 Excerpt:...I would ask consideration of the bill prepared by the president of the association and recommended in his address of yesterday, and would ask the secretary to read it, and would move that it is the sense of this association that this bill, or a substantially similar bill, be enacted by the legislature of this state. Seconded. "An act to establish a board of commissioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States' was then read by the secretary. (Appendix H.) Mr. E. C. Bronaugh moved an amendment to the motion that it be made a part of the special duty of the committee to be appointed to work for the adoption of this act, which amendment was accepted, and the motion, as amended, was duly carried. Mr. Kraemer: The second bill is an act to establish a law uniform with the laws of other states relative to the execution of wills. (Reads section 1.) Mr. Bronaugh moved that the association recommend the adoption of the act. Motion was duly carried. Mr. Kraemer: The next act is an act to establish a law uniform with the laws of other states relative to the probate of foreign wills. (Reads act.) After a brief discussion, on motion of Mr. Bronaugh the matter was referred to the committee, the appointment of which had already been recommended. Mr. Kraemer: The next act is one to establish uniform laws with other states relative to weights and measures. That has been approved. The next is to establish a law uniform with other states relative to the transfer of stock in certain corporations. (Reads act.)
