This book is a richly illlustrated reflection on the Soils exhibition in the Van Abbemuseum. The exhibition was 5 years in the planning and the book leads you through the various phases of its realisation. Alongside images, it includes texts by the three curators a conversation about Soils and decoloniality with Rolando Vazquez and artist texts by Zena Cumpston and Wapke Feenstra/Inez Dekker. It is designed by David Bennewith and Sandra Kassenaar, who also shaped the exhibition in the museum.
