Author Description

This three-volume proceedings contains the abstracts and papers that were presented at the 2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control and Management, held in Guangzhou, China in August 2008, and co-sponsored by institutions in China, the US, Russia, and the Netherlands. The papers are in the original session groupings, with session topics in v.1 that include intelligent computing, signal and image processing, networks, information processing, machine learning, and intelligent systems. Vol.2 contains the papers on control and communication, with sessions on control algorithm, optimization and decision making, and a variety of control applications. Vol.3 contains the papers on management, with sessions on international cooperation and trade and information technology strategy and e-business, with many case studies of examples in China. The presenters are researchers and academics in computer science, information technology, systems security, finance, economics, and business at institutions worldwide. An author index is included for each volume; there is no subject index.
