The Works of the Commission for Comparative Literature Slavic Studies affiliated with International Committee of Slavists. The book was edited with the support of the scientific research project: “Dialogue and Confrontation: The East- West Paradigm in the Slavic and Eurasian World (2005–2008) “sponsored by the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. The project is headed by Prof. Tetsuo Mochizuki from the Slavic Research Center, Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan).
