A description of a database, "Global review and inventory of population policy, 1999" (GRIPP:1999), available on diskette. The database provides current data on national population policies of member states of the United Nations (UN) and those non members represented by permanent observers. The policies and indicators covered are population growth, mortality, fertility, internal migration, immigration and emigration.
