Author Description

This book is part of an activity-based technology series for the primary levels. The series: has been written to fulfil all the National Curriculum requirements for technology Key Stages 1 and 2; covers all the Attainment Targets and Statements of Attainment contained in the National Curriculum for technology; is fully cross-curricular and covers many Attainment Targets in other subjects; begins with what teachers are currently doing in the classroom, using readily available resources; has been extensively piloted in schools across the country; and is heavily illustrated with colour photographs of children doing the activities. This first set of books is aimed at year 1, and is designed to be used by a teacher, together with a group of children.
