Author Description

Memoir depicts the daily experiences of the Borders family during their time in the Soviet Union prior to the advent of Stalin. Told in three parts from the point of view of mother, father and child, the work describes village life, the family's work demonstrating modern farming procedures and the effects of the revolution upon farmers all from a unique American perspective.
