I Have Been Forever Working On This Book. So Much So That I Now Feel I Have Said/written Nothing. To Write A Book That Largely Critiques The Power Of Writing While Simultaneously Acknowledging Its Inevitable Presence - In Fact To Recognize The Enabling Presence Of Writing Today For Many Communities, Seems Contradictory, At Least Surfacially. This Adds To The Contradictions That The Presence Of English Amongst Us Has Given Rise To. It Is To These Contradictions And Many Others That Surround Languages, Surround Our Lives That This Book Hopes To Make Some Contribution-- Provided By Publisher.
