Psychologists from around the United States have contributed to this volume, which incorporates the advances in DSM-IV and recent research findings since 1993 to provide an overview of the general issues and specific disorders involved in adult psychopathology. Chapters cover diagnosis, epidemiology, genetics, the psychophysiology and psychobiology of psychopathologies, and antisocial behavior as it relates to violence.
