X-TEXT: Black History Blueprint, is a 365-page Introductory Black His-tory Textbook/Work book, Reference/ Re-source book that traces/ documents Black history from origins of human-kind in Central/ East Africa, to "Cradle of Civilization" (Kemet/ Egypt 3,000 BCE) to West African Empires (300 BCE-1600 ACE) through European slave trade and horrific trans- atlantic journeys to the Americas ending in slavery (1500s-1860), Civil War (1861-65), Reconstruction (1865-77), lynching/Jim Crow era (1880s-1950s) and Civil Rights/Black Libe-ration Struggles (1950s-70s), culminating in exploration/critical ana-lysis of the complex realities of worldwide Black experience in 21st century. From 1st printing in 1995, to 3rd revised edition in 2015, X-TEXT, (compiled/edited by educator, Riccardo X), puts at fingertips of reader: accurate, criti-cal, relevant information about the Black expe-rience in human history, and engages reader to be active participant in study of Black history, and take ownership.
