Unity is not the objective for the citizens of God's kingdom. Jesus did not pray for or expect unity. He prayed for and expected oneness. He asked His Father to make us one. Unity comes at the expense of oneness. And, what we compromise to produce unity always comes at the expense of the very things that produce oneness.
